Reportageportrait of the Cactus caretaker in the Arboretum in Rotterdam

This week I had a portrait assignment for the Rotterdam UitAgenda. I made a portrait photo of Jan, caretaker and lover of cactus who works in the Arboretum in Rotterdam.

Every week he comes to the Arboretum to take care of the cactuses as a volunteer in the greenhouses. For me as a photographer it was quite an painfull photoshoot. Every now and then I went down on my knees and I had a big neelde in my buttock 😅

The editorial will be published mid-March. Writer Laura van Mourik interviewed Jan and makes the middle page of the magazine perfect.
